Mobile cellular subscriptions in Brazil totaled 216,083,460 in 2024, equivalent to 101.9 subscriptions per 100 people. Fixed telephone subscriptions totaled 22,545,016, or 10.6 per 100 people. The mobile-to-fixed subscription ratio was 9.6. Over five years, mobile penetration changed by +4.7 subscriptions per 100 people, while fixed telephone penetration changed by -34.6.
In the common comparison year 2024, Brazil ranked 136th of 214 economies by mobile cellular subscriptions per 100 people.
