Total fertility in Albania stood at 1.34 births per woman in 2024, a change of -0.38 over ten years. The crude birth rate was 10.1 per 1,000 people, and adolescent fertility was 12.4 births per 1,000 women ages 15 to 19.
The crude natural increase rate, calculated as the difference between the birth and death rates, was +1.7 per 1,000 people in 2024. Based on comparable data for 2024, Albania ranked 153rd of 217 economies by crude birth rate and 147th of 217 by adolescent fertility.
