This article presents Sri Lanka's international trade in goods and services using balance-of-payments export and import indicators.
Goods exports from Sri Lanka were valued at $12.77 billion in 2024, while service exports totaled $6.91 billion. Goods represented 64.9% of total exports and services accounted for 35.1%. Goods imports reached $18.84 billion, compared with service imports of $3.48 billion. The goods trade balance was -$6.07 billion, and the services trade balance was $3.43 billion.
