This article presents Papua New Guinea's international trade in goods and services using balance-of-payments export and import indicators.
Goods exports from Papua New Guinea were valued at $13.40 billion in 2024, while service exports totaled $75.2 million. Goods represented 99.4% of total exports and services accounted for 0.6%. Goods imports reached $4.69 billion, compared with service imports of $2.40 billion. The goods trade balance was $8.71 billion, and the services trade balance was -$2.32 billion.
