Manufactures accounted for 73.2% of merchandise imports into Kuwait in 2024. Food represented 17.5%, fuels 0.6%, ores and metals 2.0% and agricultural raw materials 0.5%. The largest broad import category was manufactures, with a share of 73.2%.

Over the latest five-year period, food recorded the largest increase, changing by +1.0 percentage points, while manufactures recorded the largest decline of 5.0 percentage points.
