This article presents the structure of Brunei Darussalam's merchandise imports by major product group.
Manufactures accounted for 23.2% of merchandise imports into Brunei Darussalam in 2024. Food represented 8.2%, fuels 65.9%, ores and metals 0.3% and agricultural raw materials 0.1%. The largest broad import category was fuels, with a share of 65.9%.
Over the latest five-year period, fuels recorded the largest increase, changing by +32.2 percentage points, while manufactures recorded the largest decline of 32.3 percentage points.
