The analysis summarizes resident and nonresident filing activity across patents, trademarks and industrial designs.
Intellectual property applications in Slovenia in 2021 included 239 patent applications, 6,779 trademark applications and 376 industrial design applications. The largest category was trademarks, representing 91.7% of all included applications. Resident applicants accounted for 92.9% of patent filings, 52.6% of trademark filings and 6.9% of industrial design filings. Total included IP applications were equivalent to 3469.8 per 1 million people.
