Life expectancy at birth in Zimbabwe was 63.1 years in 2024. Female life expectancy was 65.3 years, compared with 60.5 years for males, producing a female-minus-male gap of 4.8 years. Total life expectancy changed by +2.0 years over five years and by +5.0 years over ten years.
In the common comparison year 2024, Zimbabwe ranked 200th of 217 economies by total life expectancy at birth.
