This article presents the structure of Oman's merchandise imports by major product group.
Manufactures accounted for 53.2% of merchandise imports into Oman in 2024. Food represented 13.9%, fuels 23.9%, ores and metals 6.7% and agricultural raw materials 0.4%. The largest broad import category was manufactures, with a share of 53.2%.
Over the latest five-year period, fuels recorded the largest increase, changing by +22.4 percentage points, while manufactures recorded the largest decline of 18.3 percentage points.
