This article presents Ethiopia's international trade in goods and services using balance-of-payments export and import indicators.
Goods exports from Ethiopia were valued at $5.58 billion in 2024, while service exports totaled $7.61 billion. Goods represented 42.3% of total exports and services accounted for 57.7%. Goods imports reached $19.63 billion, compared with service imports of $5.51 billion. The goods trade balance was -$14.05 billion, and the services trade balance was $2.10 billion.
