This article presents Equatorial Guinea's international trade in goods and services using balance-of-payments export and import indicators.
Goods exports from Equatorial Guinea were valued at $175.3 million in 1996, while service exports totaled $4.9 million. Goods represented 97.3% of total exports and services accounted for 2.7%. Goods imports reached $292.0 million, compared with service imports of $184.6 million. The goods trade balance was -$116.7 million, and the services trade balance was -$179.7 million.
