This article presents Afghanistan's international trade in goods and services using balance-of-payments export and import indicators.
Goods exports from Afghanistan were valued at $776.7 million in 2020, while service exports totaled $699.6 million. Goods represented 52.6% of total exports and services accounted for 47.4%. Goods imports reached $5.88 billion, compared with service imports of $1.11 billion. The goods trade balance was -$5.10 billion, and the services trade balance was -$405.6 million.
