This article presents Lao PDR's imports of goods and services through current-dollar value, share of GDP and annual real growth.
Imports of goods and services into Lao PDR were valued at $6.66 billion in 2016, equivalent to 41.9% of GDP in 2016. Real imports grew by 4.6% in 2016. The nominal import value changed by +48.3% over five years and +340.3% over ten years.
In the common comparison year 2016, Lao PDR ranked 135th of 194 economies by import value and 104th of 194 by imports as a share of GDP.
