Dominica Fixed and Mobile Telecommunications: Subscription Levels and Structural Change

This statistical profile documents the composition of telecommunications subscriptions in Dominica and the shift toward mobile connectivity.

The telecommunications subscription structure of Dominica in 2022 comprised 88.5% mobile cellular subscriptions and 11.5% fixed telephone subscriptions. Mobile penetration exceeded fixed-line penetration by 74.1 subscriptions per 100 people. Mobile subscriptions first exceeded fixed subscriptions in 2003. Fixed broadband penetration was 20.9 subscriptions per 100 people in 2022.
