Argentina Fixed and Mobile Telecommunications: Subscription Levels and Structural Change

This statistical profile documents the composition of telecommunications subscriptions in Argentina and the shift toward mobile connectivity.

The telecommunications subscription structure of Argentina in 2024 comprised 90.9% mobile cellular subscriptions and 9.1% fixed telephone subscriptions. Mobile penetration exceeded fixed-line penetration by 126.2 subscriptions per 100 people. Mobile subscriptions first exceeded fixed subscriptions in 2004.
