The report examines the development of Internet adoption in Cambodia through population coverage and long-term changes.
Internet use in Cambodia stood at 68.5% of the population in 2024, down by 0.5 percentage points from the previous available observation. The female Internet-use rate was 51.7% in 2019, compared with 53.0% for males in 2019, producing a 1.2-percentage-point gap in favor of men. Fixed broadband penetration was 4.1 subscriptions per 100 people, while mobile cellular penetration was 116.1 subscriptions per 100 people.
Based on comparable data for 2024, Cambodia ranked 137th of 213 economies by Internet use.
