Brazil Internet Use: Population Coverage and Gender-Specific Rates

The analysis summarizes annual Internet-use rates in Brazil and estimates the number of users and non-users.

Individuals using the Internet represented 84.5% of the population of Brazil in 2024. This corresponded to an estimated 179,748,747 Internet users, while approximately 33,063,658 people were not using the Internet. Internet use changed by +10.6 percentage points over five years and by +29.9 percentage points over ten years.

In the common comparison year 2024, Brazil ranked 89th of 213 economies by the share of the population using the Internet.
